Welcome to the home of the Fur Babies. Please adopt them and take them to your home page. Their sole mission in life is to make you and others smile while visiting your home page.
I have worked very hard to create these graphics, please read all of the rules to make certain you understand my requirements:
Rule #1: They can only be adopted out to people who are making personal home pages. Rescue groups are more than welcome to use these graphics to decorate their rescue websites, as long as the proper link back to me is provided. It doesn't mean if you help a rescue organization you can use them in any way you wish, you must still follow the rules. No businesses allowed, no puppymills, no breeders. In which I mean, if you are creating your website with the intent purpose of selling puppies on the internet, DO NOT use these graphics. Since my graphics are "free", I do not want them used to help others make a profit.
Rule #2: Please make sure their new homes are clean, smut free environments.
Rule #3: You can only adopt them by clicking on your right mouse button and saving them to your hard drive and uploading them to your own directory. Do NOT link the graphics to pull from my directory. Doing so inflates my bandwidth. I will sporadically, without warning or notification change the directory in which these graphics are kept.
Rule #4: You must save a copy of their "adoption ceritificate" and place it somewhere on the SAME page the graphics are on, with a link back to this site. In other words, give credit where credit is due, this is not optional.
Rule #5: Under no uncertain terms are you to recolor, resize or manipulate these graphics in any way shape or form. Although they are being published for your use, I still hold a 100% copyright on them. This is NOT a public forum. Just because they are available for you to BORROW does not make them yours to own. They have been made from scratch and are in fact MY babies!
Rule #6: They are also not to be copied and used in any other graphic collection. They are for personal home pages ONLY. This also means, do not use them on message boards where HTML is allowed, such as Delphi, Yahoo!, or discussion forums. Nor are they to be used on Ebay, again I do not want them to be used for others to profit from.
Rule #7: I understand that there are people new to webpaging and the net who copy graphics without fully knowing the copyright laws. It is illegal to copy anything whether it be a graphic or text without getting permission from the person who created it. If your using my graphics without a link back and you know your doing wrong, do the right thing and give me credit. You're not fooling anyone. My graphics have been on the internet for over 6 years now, everyone knows where they come from and who made them. So if I catch you I will either e-mail you and ask you for my link, or I will notify your webspace provider of copyright infringement. You have no idea how much trouble these graphics have caused for me. It makes me laugh when I think back to when I first put them on the internet. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have bothered. Believe me, I've heard all the excuses in the world in the last 4 years, you can't shock me. So I guess this rule is a follow up to #4. It doesn't matter where you copied them, these graphics were still created by me and I'm asking for a link in return for you using them.
Rule #8: The Fur Babies are the only graphics from my site that I will allow anyone to copy and use elsewhere. Under NO cirumstances are the graphics on any of my other pages to be copied. All Fur Baby graphics have an "fb" at the start of their file name. Renaming them without the "fb" does NOT make them yours or anyone elses! If you are still uncertain, e-mail me and ask before you copy anything. It seems no matter what I say, or how I say it someone is always out there looking for a loophole in my words.
